Cogency, the strategic communications and digital marketing agency is seeking to expand our team.
We wish to hear from experienced personnel and those who are at the early stages of their career in PR/ Communications/ Digital Marketing.
Applicants at PR Director, PR Manager and PR Executive levels are being considered.
Positions with Cogency will be primarily remote working, with very occasional travel to Cogency’s office in Co. Galway, when public health circumstances allow. All applicants must have access to their own means of transport.

PR Director/ PR Manager
Are you a PR/ digital marketer with approximately 3+ years of experience?
Are you looking for a fresh opportunity that will allow you to grow with an expanding company, providing you with the opportunity to steer the development of the business and take on more responsibility in your career?
Or perhaps you are seeking a role that will provide you with the flexibility to work from home and balance the demands of your family life?

Ideal candidates will have:
- Excellent writing and verbal communications abilities
- Strong media relations skills with detailed media contacts
- Experienced in developing communications and digital marketing strategies from conception, to implementation and completion
- In depth understanding of the Irish political and media landscape
- Digital marketing and social media experience
- Familiarity with website management, SEO, PPC
- Proven client management capabilities
- Creative thinker
- Team player
- Strong time management abilities and experience of working under pressure and proven ability to multitask
- Full, clean driver licence with access to transport.
PR Executive
Are you interested in a career in PR and digital marketing? Do you have an interest in news and current affairs?
Have you writing skills and/ or social media experience? Are you a team player? Do you want to expand your skills and experience?
If you are a driven, team player looking for an exciting role that will grow as your skills and experience develop then this may be the opportunity for you.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Understanding of Irish news and media
- Interest in politics and current affairs
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Proficient digital capabilities
- Knowledge and experience of social media
- Familiarity with website management, SEO, PPC an advantage
- IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Photoshop experience would be beneficial but not essential
- Typing skills essential
- Ability to multitask
- Time management capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Creative thinking
- Team player
- Desire to learn more and expand their capabilities
- Willingness to undertake some administration and office management tasks
- Full, clean driver licence with access to transport.
